Spheroid AI Avatars vs Photo AI (formerly Avatar AI)

Spheroid AI Avatars lets you build a 3D character, give it a personality, and place it in augmented reality for voice conversations. Pick a location, choose or upload a model, describe how it should talk, then publish so visitors open it through the XR Hub mobile app.

Most avatar builders output video or static renders. Spheroid ties character creation to geolocated AR spaces through its Warp manager, which targets campaigns that need a character on a storefront, event floor, or packaging surface rather than a chat widget on a website.

Marketing teams, educators, and creators use it for branded assistants, interactive ads, and lightweight entertainment experiences. The public demo and five-minute setup flow handle basic launches, while [email protected] handles custom branded apps.

Photo AI trains a personal model from your selfies, then produces photorealistic photos of you in new poses, outfits, and settings. Upload 5 to 15 diverse photos, wait about five minutes for training, and generate individual shots in roughly 20 seconds from a browser or phone. The product works like an AI photographer you hire once and reuse for every shoot.

One-off avatar apps like Lensa or ProfilePicture.ai focus on stylized headshot packs. Photo AI goes further with themed photo packs, virtual clothing try-on, AI video from stills, motion capture, and fully synthetic AI influencers you design from scratch. The trade-off is a paid subscription with a credit system instead of a simple per-pack purchase.

Creators, ecommerce sellers, and social media professionals use Photo AI for headshots, lifestyle content, and product modeling without booking a studio. The site reports over 30 million photos generated and 120+ avatar styles spanning professional, dating, travel, and creative categories. Founder Pieter Levels runs Photo AI as a solo independent business without outside investors.

After training, you can combine separate photos into group shots, upscale favorites, and turn results into short videos with talking scripts. Commercial usage rights apply on higher-tier plans. Photo AI operates at avatarai.me and was formerly known as Avatar AI, the product that helped kick off the viral AI avatar trend in 2022.
