Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026. Sections on content you submit, Service Data, assignment, liability, and Ontario law take effect on December 1, 2026.

Southern East Inc., 222 Main St E, North Bay, ON P1B 1B1, Canada, runs aitools.fyi. These terms apply when you use the site. Please read them. If you have a question before you use a paid service, contact us first.

The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. If these terms and the Privacy Policy both speak about your information, the Privacy Policy controls.

1. The site and third-party tools

aitools.fyi lists AI tools and related services. We are not the provider of those third-party tools. Check the website of that tool for features, price, and terms before you use it. If you see something that does not belong on our site, contact us.

2. Accounts

You can browse without an account. If you create an account, you must give a real email and keep it under your control. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may send sign-in email and, as the sign-up screen says, email from us.

3. Listings and acceptable use

If you submit a tool or other listing, include accurate details, such as the name, images, website, and contact information. Do not submit anything that is illegal, harmful, or violent, or that is not appropriate for a general audience except as the adult-tools section allows.

Do not spam, defraud, or interfere with the site or with other people. Do not scrape the site in a way that bypasses technical limits or that you were asked to stop. We may refuse, edit, or remove a listing, and we may suspend access when we need to stop harm, fraud, or illegal use.

4. Advertising and payments

Paid promotion is optional. We may approve, refuse, or cancel a free or paid listing. Advertising plans may show estimated clicks or impressions from past data. Those numbers are not a promise of future results. Ad plan purchases are non-refundable, except as section 12 says if you reject a material change.

Some plans, including plans for adult tools, may be unavailable. We may refuse an advertising request. We review ad content before it goes live. If you advertise, you agree to send content that fits these terms.

Pay before the service starts, from the payment method you choose, as a one-time fee or a recurring fee. If a payment fails, we may pause the service until it is paid. To cancel a paid service, send us a written notice before the current term ends. Questions about ad plans: [email protected].

5. Refunds

We offer refunds for services that are cancelled or not approved. We provide a full or partial refund, where it applies, after a written request. Advertising plan purchases stay non-refundable, as section 4 says, except as section 12 says if you reject a material change.

6. Adult tools

aitools.fyi is an information site for a general audience. We may list adult, 18+, or similar tools for information only. We do not control those tools beyond the listing.

• We do not endorse or encourage the use of adult tools listed on the site.
• We are not responsible for the content or results of those third-party tools.
• You decide whether to open a third-party service, including an adult tool.
• Read that tool terms, privacy policy, and age rules before you use it, and follow the law where you live.

7. Your content

Effective December 1, 2026. Before December 1, 2026, this section does not change how we use information we already have.

"Your Content" means what you submit, upload, or create on aitools.fyi, such as a review, a profile, or a tool submission. You keep your rights in it.

You give Southern East Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, adapt for formatting and display, and display Your Content. We may do this only to:

• Provide, secure, maintain, and support aitools.fyi for you, including showing or sending Your Content where you direct.
• Show content you choose to make public on aitools.fyi, and in listings or search results that promote aitools.fyi.
• Improve and develop our services, including measuring how features are used. We do not use Your Content to train AI models unless the Privacy Policy says you opted in.
• Create statistics and anonymized information as the Privacy Policy describes.

We will not sell Your Content. We will not give it to a third party for that party to use on its own, including training that party AI models, unless you opt in or tell us to. Our service providers may handle it only to help us run aitools.fyi.

The license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for: (i) statistics and anonymized information already created; (ii) backup copies, until they are overwritten in our normal backup cycle; (iii) anything you already shared with others or published; and (iv) anything the law requires us to keep.

8. Service Data

Effective December 1, 2026. Before December 1, 2026, this section does not change how we use information we already have.

Service Data means:

• Statistics and anonymized information we create as the Privacy Policy describes.
• Technical and usage information about how aitools.fyi performs, such as uptime, errors, and feature usage.

Service Data does not include Your Content itself, and it does not identify you or any other person.

We own Service Data. We may use, publish, and license it for any lawful purpose, but only while it stays non-identifying, and only if each recipient agrees in writing not to re-identify anyone, not to combine it with other data to do that, and not to pass it on without the same terms. If Service Data turns out to identify someone, we will treat it as personal information under the Privacy Policy and fix the problem.

9. Assignment

Effective December 1, 2026. Before December 1, 2026, this section does not change how we use information we already have.

We may assign or transfer these terms, and our related rights and obligations, including information handled under the Privacy Policy. We may do this to an affiliate, or to a successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, insolvency, or sale of all or part of our assets or of the business of aitools.fyi. The successor must honour these terms and the Privacy Policy for the information it receives, unless it gives you notice and gets any consent required under Changes to these terms and the Privacy Policy. We will tell you within 30 days after such a transfer. You may not assign these terms without our written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

Effective December 1, 2026. Until that date, the older wording applies.

We are not liable to you or any other person for any cost, loss or liability including loss of profit, loss of data, marketing expense or other consequential damage arising from misconduct of our services.

You, as a user, must verify all services features, charges and other related properties before you acquire any third-party services listed on our website.

11. Governing law

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement and supersede all prior agreements.

Effective December 1, 2026. Until that date, the older wording applies.

This agreement is created on the basis of general terms and applicable law in any part of the world. We do respect any governance, law, community and legal authorities and encourage our users to check their entities before listing them on our website.

12. Changes to these terms

A change is material if a reasonable user would consider it significant. For example, it reduces your rights or our obligations, raises fees, changes how we use or share your data, changes dispute resolution or governing law, or takes away a paid feature.

We will give at least 30 days notice of a material change, by email to account holders and with a notice on aitools.fyi. The notice will summarize the change and link to the old and new versions.

A change that expands how we use or share data applies to data we collected before the change only if you expressly agree.

If you do not agree, you can stop using aitools.fyi and close your account before the change takes effect. If you are on a paid plan, we will refund the prepaid, unused part of your plan if you ask.

Non-material changes take effect when we post them. Except as the paragraph about your data says, using aitools.fyi after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Past versions: terms before October 2026. If the law requires a change sooner, we will give as much notice as we can.
