Amie vs Limitless

Amie is a meeting note taker, calendar, and task app for people who spend their days in calls. It captures audio from your device without sending a bot into Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams, then turns conversations into summaries, transcripts, and action items you can use immediately.

The pieces are wired together rather than bolted on. Private notes you write before or during a call shape the summary. Action items can land in your todo lists, get scheduled automatically, or export to HubSpot, Notion, Slack, Linear, and Pipedrive with a click. The built-in chat has context from your meetings, calendar, and email, so you can draft follow-ups, create tickets, or ask what someone said in last week's demo.

Sales teams, founders, and customer-facing roles are the core audience. The app runs on macOS, Windows, and iOS, syncs Google and Apple calendars, and transcribes in 17 languages with speaker labeling.

Limitless is a meeting assistant built around the Pendant, a wearable that captures conversations and turns them into searchable transcripts and summaries. The service also offered desktop and web recorders plus the Rewind screen-capture app for personal context.

In late 2025 Limitless announced its acquisition by Meta to build AI-enabled wearables, which means new Pendant sales stopped and Rewind is sunsetting. Existing Pendant owners still get free Unlimited Plan access through 2026, but desktop and web recording no longer accept new captures.

Professionals who already own the Pendant use Limitless to recall meetings and spoken notes hands-free. New buyers cannot purchase hardware after December 5, 2025, and several regions lose service access entirely.
