Built by NextLab Inc., it targets researchers reading academic papers and business teams working through manuals, reports, and contracts without rebuilding documents by hand.

The reader shows original and translated text side by side so you can scan a translation and jump back to the source line when something needs a closer look. Premium users can register custom dictionaries so product names, abbreviations, and field-specific terms translate the same way every time.

Readable runs in the browser and through a Chrome extension for quick file translation. Pro Standard focuses on English-to-Japanese PDFs, while Pro Premium adds 200+ source languages, larger file limits, and optional ChatGPT-based translation engines.

YOUS is a translation messenger that runs live voice and text translation inside meetings, phone calls, and chats. You sign up, pick your language and your contact's language, and the app translates speech and messages as you talk. It ships on iOS, Android, and a browser app at web.yous.ai.

Unlike standalone text translators, YOUS wraps translation around three communication modes in one account: 1-to-1 audio/video meetings, outbound phone calls to mobile and landline numbers, and username-based messaging. The Plus plan unlocks phone calls; the free Basic tier still covers meetings and chat translation with a monthly minute cap.

Expats, remote teams, and families split across languages are the clearest fit. The site lists 17 supported languages and notes that extra meeting minutes beyond the plan allowance cost $0.25 each. Group meetings are not available yet, so it targets paired conversations rather than conference rooms.
