MindsHub (formerly MindsDB)
MindsHub is the open-source agent platform built by MindsDB. You describe a whole task in plain language through Cowork, its unified workspace, and get back finished work: dashboards, reports, spreadsheets, memos, and shareable apps. No prompt chains, no API keys to wire up first.
Under the hood, interchangeable open-source agents (Anton, Hermes, OpenClaw, and others) run on managed infrastructure with a Model Router that sends each step to the right LLM. A credentials vault connects databases, SaaS tools, and file sources without exposing raw keys to the agent.
The company started in 2018 with in-database ML and grew into one of the most widely adopted open platforms for AI analytics. In 2026 the agent product was renamed from MindsDB to MindsHub to reflect the shift from database tooling to outcome-driven agent work.
Knowledge workers who want tasks off their plate and developers who want to run open agents in the cloud are the core audience. Cowork ships as a web app plus desktop installers for macOS and Windows.

How much does MindsHub cost?
MindsHub offers a free Starter plan where you bring your own model and API key. The Pro plan is $9.95 per month and includes access to all frontier models through the Model Router, 5 million tokens, and private artifacts. Billing is monthly and you can cancel anytime.
Do I need API keys to use MindsHub?
No. On the Pro plan, the Model Router is pre-wired across commercial and open models, so there are no provider keys to set up. Starter plan users can bring their own API key. You can connect your own LLM accounts later if you want direct provider control.
What is MindsHub Cowork?
MindsHub Cowork is the unified workspace where you brief open-source agents in plain language, connect your data and tools, and collect finished shareable work. It runs on the web and as desktop apps for macOS and Windows.
Which agents can I run on MindsHub?
MindsHub supports Anton and Hermes in Cowork today, plus standalone agents OpenClaw, OpenClaw + GBrain, NanoClaw, and Hermes with their native harnesses. Each agent runs 24/7 on managed cloud infrastructure for $9.95 per month per agent.
Is MindsHub the same as MindsDB?
MindsHub is the product; MindsDB is the company behind it. In 2026 the agent platform was renamed from MindsDB to MindsHub because the old name implied a database. The open-source core lives at github.com/mindsdb/minds.
Is MindsHub open source?
Yes. The core that powers MindsHub is open source at github.com/mindsdb/minds, and the agents it runs are open source too. You can inspect, fork, and run them locally, or use MindsHub as the managed option.
