Youtube Playlist Randomizer
Youtube Playlist Randomizer is a free web app for shuffling YouTube and YouTube Music playlists. Paste a public playlist URL into the search bar and the site loads the full list, randomizes the order, and starts playback in the browser.
YouTube's built-in shuffle only covers the first 200 videos and tends to repeat the same tracks. This tool randomizes the entire playlist, up to 20,000 videos according to the site title, with a shuffle that is meant to be fully random rather than predictable.
Playback runs without ads between tracks, and you can keep listening with your device screen off. You can loop an entire playlist, loop a single video with the loop toggle, reshuffle, restore the original order, save playlists, and reopen past sessions from a history list. A separate Create Playlist page lets you paste multiple YouTube playlist URLs and save them as a custom collection.
Paste any public YouTube or YouTube Music playlist URL and get a fully shuffled queue in seconds
Randomizes the whole playlist, not just YouTube's 200-video shuffle cap
No ads between songs or videos during playback
Keep listening with the screen off, including when looping a single track
Loop a full playlist, loop one video, reshuffle, or restore the original track order
Save playlists and reopen past sessions from the built-in history list
Build custom collections by pasting multiple playlist URLs on the Create Playlist page
Completely free with no signup required to start shuffling.
Fixes YouTube's 200-video shuffle limit by randomizing the full playlist.
Ad-free playback and background listening are rare for third-party YouTube tools.
Only works with public YouTube or YouTube Music playlist URLs you can paste in.
No native mobile apps; everything runs in the browser.
Depends on YouTube's embed/player behavior, so availability can vary by device.
Is Youtube Playlist Randomizer free?
Yes. The site is free to use with no paid plans listed. You paste a playlist URL and start shuffling without creating an account.
How is this different from YouTube's shuffle?
YouTube only shuffles the first 200 videos in a playlist and the order is not fully random. Playlist Randomizer shuffles the entire playlist and is designed to randomize all tracks.
Does it work with YouTube Music playlists?
Yes. The homepage FAQ states the tool works with YouTube and YouTube Music playlists when you enter a public playlist URL.
Are there ads during playback?
No. The site says there are no ads on songs and no ads between videos, so playlists play without interruptions.
Can I play playlists with my screen turned off?
Yes. The FAQ confirms playback continues in the background when your device screen is off, including when a single song is set to loop.
What does the loop video toggle do?
When enabled, the current video or song loops indefinitely and the rest of the playlist pauses. Turn it off and playback continues through the shuffled list after the track ends.
